Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Services, and to make a purchase you must be of the age of majority where you live. The Services are not directed to children under 13.

The service

KoalaMirror projects your Android desktop to Android Auto via root-level injection. It requires a rooted device with a Zygisk runtime. Functionality depends on your device, root setup, and Android Auto / GMS versions. KM Launcher is a separate, free home-screen app that works with or without KoalaMirror.

Your account

Projection requires signing in with Google so we can issue and verify your license. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. A license is bound to your account and a single active device at a time; you may transfer it to a new device from within the app.

License & subscription

• A free 30-day trial begins when you sign in.
• After the trial: a Monthly or Annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime license.
• We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Services for their intended purpose. Licenses are bound to your account and device to prevent sharing.
• A Lifetime license is a one-time purchase that does not auto-renew. It covers continued use of the app but does not guarantee future major versions or indefinite availability of the online service.

Payments, billing & renewal

• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Paddle or Stripe), which may act as the merchant of record. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise the provider to charge the then-current price for each renewal.
• We may change prices or plans; changes apply to future billing periods, with reasonable notice. You are responsible for any taxes the provider does not collect.

Cancellation & refunds

• You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds are handled by the payment provider in accordance with their refund policy and your statutory consumer rights — including, where applicable, the PRC Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests and the mandatory rights of your country of residence.
• Because licenses are digital and delivered immediately, refunds outside those policies and rights are at our discretion. For help, email [email protected].

Acceptable use

You may not:

• resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share your license;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the protected components;
• circumvent the licensing, device limits, or any technical protection; or
• use the Services unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.

Root & device risk

Rooting and system-level injection carry inherent risk. You use KoalaMirror at your own risk; we are not liable for device damage, data loss, or voided warranties.

Intellectual property

KoalaMirror, KM Launcher, their logos, and all related software and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the Services, not any ownership; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Third-party services

The Services rely on third parties — Google Sign-In, Android Auto / Google Play Services, and payment providers. Their own terms and policies apply, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

No warranty & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. On termination your license ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, by in-app or other notice. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts with jurisdiction at the operator’s place of residence. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence.

Severability & entire agreement

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
